Our fine Belgian EcoLinen textiles have been tested and certified by an independent agency to be compliant with Class IV standards for chemical residues in the final product.
For information on independent testing and certification of our Eco-Linen, click on this link:Öeko-Tex Standard 100 class IV specifications Additionally, our mill complies with all the strict E.E.C rules and European REACH regulations in their manufacturing processes. Flax (the plant that supplies the fiber for the weaving of linen) requires no irrigation; 100% of the plant is utilized (no waste) , and it is 100% biodegradable or recyclable. Veranda Linen, our Belgian outdoor-finish linen, is highly resistant to sun, mildew, salt water; excellent for protected outdoor areas and indoor areas that receive intense sunlight.
Additionally, the mill that produces our fine linen and linen blends complies with the highest European standards for ethical labor practices and environmental protections.
